Today, building glass is coated with a thin wash of color, or stained, Printed, lacquered, laminated and used in conjunction with other materials. New methods enable rounded forms in dimensions impossible to be realized in glass until now. There are a variety of different forms of transparency and translucency, In darkness and when lit from the inside, some buildings appear to be made simply of light. Materials enthrall us and appeal to the emotions; they surround us with every step we take; we possess and feel them.
